Staff Nurse Day Services SC26-019
- Duration of Post: Full Time – Permanent
- Location: Day service locations across Dublin & Kildare
- Reporting Relationship: Director of Care or a person delegated by them.
- Purpose: The successful applicant will be a valued member of our Stewarts Day Service Team, supporting the health and wellbeing of service users to achieve person-centred goals and ensuring their clinical practice is underpinned by NMBI requirements and Stewarts Care Policies, Procedures, Protocols and Guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide oversight and governance of the assigned day service. Promote the health, welfare and social wellbeing of service users. Manage day to day planning and activities of the assigned day services. Take the lead role in implementing day services programmes as per New Directions for service users.
Manage assigned caseload of service users. Develop and complete health assessments and associated care plans to address existing and emerging health needs for service users.
Delegate to and supervise the work of other grades of staff within the remit of their role, as appropriate.... Terms and Conditions of Employment: Intellectual Disability Community Nurse Remuneration: Remuneration is in accordance with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales.
Current Salary Scale: Staff Nurse, Intellectual Disabilities, €38,166 - €56,592 incl LSI per annum. Working week: 37.5 hours per week exclusive of lunch breaks. Probation: 6 months, extendable to 9 months. Garda Vetting: Stewarts Care will carry out Garda vetting on all new employees.
