Special Class Teacher – Hours in Co-operation An Cosán Community Special School (Roll Number: 20572K) Physical Education – 22 hours per week Casual Fixed Term Contract Ref: HICACPE26 An Cosán Community Special School provides for the needs of students with autism and complex needs with a professional recommendation for a special school, in addition to students with moderate general learning disability and complex needs, with a professional recommendation for a special school, from the beginning of Primary school up to eighteen years of age.
To qualify for appointment candidates must be able to comply with the following: Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 1 (Primary) or Route 2 (Post Primary). Experience with children who have diagnosis of Autism / Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Moderate General Learning Disability and / or Special Education Needs is desirable.
An additional qualification of working in Special Education is advantageous. Appointments will be subject to: Vetting requirements Occupational Health Screening.
