Job Description

Ryanair are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to come onboard at the early stage of our Engine MRO projects.

The successful candidate will be initially based in Ryanair's Engineering HQ in DUBLIN before reverting to the Engine MRO facility, once operational. They will be part of a key team with responsibility in establishing the Operations function from the ground up and supporting the development of a brand-new Engine MRO facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational set-up of the new Engine MRO from project phase to full operational readiness.
  • Support the development of facility layout, processes, equipment and operational standards.
  • Support and deputise to the General Manager, when required
  • Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Facilities and other stakeholders during the build and commissioning phase.
  • Lead recruitment, development and management of the MRO Operations team.
  • Manage day-to-day Disassembly and Assembly operations.
  • Drive performance across safety, quality, TAT, cost and productivity.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years experience within Engine MROs & repair and/ or aviation
  • 2+ years proven leadership experience in a large organisation
  • Relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience in operations related to CFM56 or LEAP-1B engines.
  • Strong people, stakeholder and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multinational, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in English with additional fluency in Spanish would be highly regarded
