Applications are invited for the above positions based in West Dublin, North Kildare and Meath.

Job Purpose The overall role and responsibility of Care Staff is to enhance the lives of the Residents. To this aim Care Staff must work effectively with all staff directly involved with the residents of Stewarts Care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise residents in all aspects of daily life, ensuring safety.
  • Assist in day‑to‑day running of sections and training of residents.
  • Attend training programmes, fire prevention and emergency training.
  • Maintain hygiene, administer medication, support residents in leisure activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and risk management.
  • Maintain service user records and comply with GDPR.
  • Work in a safe manner and adhere to all relevant policies.

Education and Skills

  • QQI Level 5 (Healthcare Support) or SKILL‑VEC Level 5 or equivalent.
  • One year’s experience in disability preferred.
  • Excellent communication, ICT skills, teamwork, resilience.

Terms and Conditions of Employment

  • Remuneration: €34,536‑€47,954 incl. LSIs per annum.
  • Salary paid monthly.
  • Working week: 39 hours.
  • Probation: 6 months (extendable to 9 months).
  • Garda vetting required.
