Responsibilities include
- Establish and maintain the highest standards of service across all areas of the Leisure Operation.
- Ensure there is an orientation programme on the use of the gym facilities and equipment for all new members and to develop personalised fitness programmes where requested.
- Develop the membership offering within the Leisure Operation.
- Provide day to day supervision of Leisure staff.
- Assist all guests / members with respect to Spa reservations and the use of leisure facilities in a professional and courteous manner.
- Actively sell Membership and achieve target figures.
- Actively sell personal training to our members and achieve target figures.
- Prepare and deliver a combination of fitness classes daily.
- Monitor all guest feedback and implement systems to address relevant comments.
- Direct and lead the day to day Leisure operations ensuring all standards are followed.
- Train, manage and develop a team of dedicated professionals.
- Support team members in all aspects of the business operation.
- Liaise with the Sales and Marketing team to co-ordinate PR, sales and marketing activities.
- Initiate and instigate new ideas and avenues for growth and development.
Requirements
- 3-4 years’ experience as a Leisure Manager within a 5 star/luxury brand outlet.
- Strong financial acumen along with sales/merchandising inventory management experience.
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to drive the team to top standards of service.
